A seasoned professional, STEVE LA BOUM (SLB) is a live performing DJ/Musician/Vocalist aiming most importantly to be friendly, fun and reliable. STEVE LA BOUM first went to the ARIAS in 2005 after producing remixes for Ricki Lee and other Australian Idols. Under different aliases Steve's projects (as both a studio engineer and keyboard player/vocalist) have been signed to labels in the UK, USA and even a Japan Idol's #1 release. Steve has been musical director of several bands both in Australia and on tour internationally. During Covid, Steve returned to a career in engineering and created a broadcast tech startup which is now the backbone of a major Australian broadcaster and it won an innovation award from the AFL. Most recently, SLB is now focusing on being a solo DJ/Live performer.
