Cassawarrior

DJ Cassawarrior is a former adopted musical son of Melbourne now based back in his home of Aotearoa (NZ). A record collector who has spent many a dusty month digging up rare Afro/Tropical gems in East & West Africa and the Caribbean, with a culturally immersed ‘boots on the ground’ approach. Originally a musician, he has played bass guitar touring with Ethiopian music greats Mulatu Astatke, Mahmoud Ahmed and Alemayehu Eshete. Cassawarrior is also been a Glastonbury Festival regular
