Known for selecting the finest in soul/ jazz infused tunes both vintage and nu forms. Expect to hear everything from house to hip hop, neo soul to jazz and everything with a tasty groove. Gene has played support for a number of international recording artists, most notably, Daniel Caesar, Tank and the Bangas, Alice Russell, DJ Regal (The Wiseguys) Eric Lau and Jazz legend Roy Ayers. He has also a regular fixture at festivals Splore, Matariki, Sound-Splash, Auckland Arts Festival and more.
