MATT RED MOORE is an American rock artist from southeast Kentucky. Red has toured as a member of C2 & The Brothers Reed, Edgar Red, Kentucky Ruckus, Dusty Bo & The Contraband, and Matt Red Moore (band). Red plays 200+ shows a year spanning major music festivals in full-band form to solo acoustic gigs at Kentuckiana clubs. Matt Red Moore's rock music is characterized by emotional southern guitar riffing, a pounding rhythm section, and a grungy high vocal range, while his acoustic music is more lyrically driven and folky. Red's live shows are a high-energy party spotted with light humor and gut-punching ballads. Audiences become quickly connected to him to the point that they feel like they know him on a personal level. The music is delivered in an unrefined form at every show.
