Kate Owen

I have an eclectic musical background in jazz, blues and pop, and love putting my acoustic take on classic and not-so-classic rock, pop and folk songs. I've been playing bars, restaurants, weddings, private parties and corporate events for over a decade and love bringing people together with music. I accompany myself on guitar and use a loop pedal to add depth and texture to some arrangements. I enjoy tuning into the room and choosing songs that people can connect with and enjoy, whether I'm providing relaxed background music or helping create a more lively atmosphere. Alongside performing, I write and record my own music, working with wonderful musicians and producers to explore the different genres and musical influences I love. I bring a professional, adaptable approach to every gig, with a broad repertoire and experience playing for different audiences, venues and occasions.
