Navigating a Galore of Genres While Gifting The Grooves. No matter the genre, good times are always to be had on the dance floor. Growing up in East London, Navigate always had a love for music. Whether it was singing during his school years, alongside playing the violin & xylophone, or the eclectic collection of live gigs & festivals that was attended, Navigate never shied away from the love of music. His first gig in Manchester, after moving during the pandemic, was alongside SCAPA with a 2-hour set in the Soup Kitchen Basement. While building the DJ career, Navigate was also under the alias "Dave Token", a MPC based beatmaker & rapper, with noticeable highlights including playing at the infamous Hip Hop Chip Shop before it's closure & his remix to "It's Coming Home" achieving over 100,000 on streaming platforms. Over the past 6 years, this has now evolved to many stand out achievements such as an all night long vinyl set at Renae as well as Eastern Bloc for Record Store Day, opening for Obi Trice at Blue's Kitchen and weekly DJ residencies around popular Manchester venues. Navigate is now diving deeper into his vinyl collection since the start of 2026, drawing from a nostalgic upbringing and the sounds he grew up with being a 90s kid. The journey is now forward-thinking, considering a selection of club-ready cuts and deeper selections, reflecting his wide-ranging taste and floor-focused approach, from upfront grooves to leftfield moments.
