Born in Sao Paulo, Doug Dee grew up surrounded by Brazil’s diversity of music styles from the soft rhythm of bossa nova to the infectious groove of samba. In love with electronic music from an early age (think Daft Punk when One More Time came out), Doug started spinning House music in 2010, 2 years after moving to London. In the same year, he was crowned the winner of Ku Bar’s DJ Quest as well as of Boyz Magazine’s award for Best New DJ in the UK in 2011.
