Vices

Here’s the brass tacks of it, folks: Vices is an Australian DJ, and he’s been taking work from real DJs for over 10 years now, jumping on lineups with Dom Dolla, Wet Leg, Sneaky Sound System, What So Not, Hockey Dad, and Matt Corby. Not that he’s bragging or anything (but you’ve gotta admit, that’s pretty cool). And yes, there was also that set with Peking Duk. And that other night with Yolanda Be Cool. But mostly, he just shows up, plays big tunes, and makes sure the dance floor forgets what time it is... like that time he played before Bliss N Eso. Again, not a big deal. He doesn’t talk about it that much. Vices has always said, “I don’t do it for the fame, or the glamorous lifestyle, or the attention... I do it because I love money. The other stuff is just a bonus.” Oh, and he also played with Portugal. The Man.
