Veratie

VERATIE (pronounced veh-ruh-tee) are an alt-rock / nu-metal band, based in Southeast Queensland. Formed in 2021 by lead singer-songwriter Sarah and guitarist-beatmaker Connor & since joined by drummer Patrick, VERATIE overlays evocative melodic and rap vocals over an intricate soundscape of synth, heavy guitars and relentless rhythm. They have already supported names such as The Halo Effect (Europe), Beyond the Black (Europe), Redhook, Devilskin (New Zealand), Lagerstein, Krave and more. VERATIE have recently released their debut, 10 song album with James See at Airlock Studios, Brisbane. This body of work thematically revolves around the intersection of humanity, society, machine and divine, with singles and accompanying music videos that have been released since 2024. VERATIE are a band to watch as they are set to rise in the new generation of alternate artists.
