Tom Hastings

Tom Hastings, is a Melbourne based singer-songwriter and guitarist who has been performing around the Melbourne Pub, Club and function scene for several years including solo, duets (both male and female) and with bands and has a successful busking career. Tom is also a part of several music tribute acts including the very successful David Bowie Starman show which performs Australia wide. Tom's music is Inspired by artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Noah Kahan and John Mayer. His music is grounded in honest storytelling and emotional connection combining reflective lyrics with warm acoustic arrangements that feel both intimate and hit close to home. Currently working on his debut EP, Tom is preparing to release his upcoming single, Don’t Be Afraid, a song which captures his personal and vulnerable approach to songwriting. Nearing completion of a formal degree in music Tom is now preparing to increase his performance activities and would welcome the opportunity to engage with new venues in a manner that facilitates the relevant audience by bringing his own popular music or providing both male and female backups. As a solo artist Tom plays guitar and performs popular covers suitable for most hospitality venues. Tom has an extensive social media presence and videos of many past performances can be viewed there.
