The Smashed Avocados

The Smashed Avocados are a hard-rocking 3-piece pub rock band from Sydney’s Inner West that play HARD ROCK to make you ROCK HARD! Known for spectacular live shows packed with theatrics, an eclectic mix of genres and huge stage presence, the Avos are here to get audiences dancing, singing and wanting more. Their debut EP ‘Rockamole’ arrived in 2024 and introduced everyone to their SMASHING sound! Featuring ‘My Name Is Jim’, an absolute pub rock banger with an infectious chorus that’ll have your Nan chanting by the end, and ‘Hey Ga’, a nostalgic earworm full of familiar, hypnotic melodies. ‘Hey Ga’ has reached over 50k Spotify streams, while ‘My Name Is Jim’ has clocked more than 73k views on YouTube. Following the release, the band took ‘Rockamole’ on the road, touring interstate and building their live show across Sydney, Canberra and South Australia. In 2025 the Avos blasted things into SPACE with their second EP, ‘Smashed In Space’. Featuring the singles ‘Keira’, ‘Valentine’s Day’ and ‘On My Way Home’, the record was launched with a sold-out show at Petersham Bowling Club and accompanied by ‘Smashed In Space: The Movie’ — every music video from the EP loosely stitched together into one not-quite feature-length DIY sci-fi film.
