The Layman Preachers

Heather Armstrong and Corby Green began releasing music under The Layman Preachers banner in 2022 after many years working both independently and together in various original bands within North Queensland’s folk music scene. As a recording outfit, we write what is on our mind, in whatever genre we feel works for the piece. On the 'live' front, we predominatly perform as a roots based acoustic 4 piece adapting our material to suit the instrumentation.
