The JarrahCelts

The Jarrah Celts are an established and much-loved Australian Celtic band based in Roleystone in the Perth Hills. Their music continues a Celtic tradition that has been part of Western Australia for more than 150 years, blending original songs and tunes with well-known Celtic and folk favourites, lively jigs and reels, and rowdy singalong ballads. The band is led by Chris Horgan, a fifth-generation born Australian with strong Irish heritage and an experienced multi-instrumentalist who spent three years living in Ireland immersed in traditional Irish music and culture. Performing on Irish wooden flute, bodhrán, whistles and other acoustic instruments, Chris is joined by fiddle, guitar, bass and vocals to create an energetic and distinctly Australian take on Celtic music.
