Inspired by the European scene, especially the rhythm and romance of Ibiza, SUNDANCE prides himself on finding tracks that capture the essence of the island’s iconic energy.This research, his regular visits and sending his Shazam into overload allows him to always curate the perfect soundtrack to golden hours and late night sessions. With a deep record bag ranging from releases on Knee Deep In Sound to Maccabi House, SUNDANCE blends elements of deep house, afro house, deep tech, melodic house and indie dance, guided by the likes of Hot Since 82, &ME, Rampa, Franky Wah, Adam Ten, and Mita Gami. Though his lifelong obsession with music didn’t culminate in a DJ career until 2023, SUNDANCE has quickly established himself as a rising talent in the Melbourne dance music scene. His early successes have led to multiple residencies including Melbourne icons: Pawn & Co and Electric. A standout win in the Bounce Melbourne and Movement Oz DJ Competition also earned him the chance to warm up for one of the biggest names in the global Afro House scene: Francis Mercier. A student of the prestigious Pete Tong DJ Academy , Splitting his time between researching dance music history and reading live crowds, SUNDANCE employs a knack for leading dancefloors deep into day or night; his passion lies in curating experiences that evoke emotion and create connection, whether it’s the first or thirtieth time you’ve heard a track he plays.
