The Sugar Beats

The Sugar Beats came to life in late 2023 in a similar way that breakfast cereal scientists combine ingredients together until they hit the perfect formula. Hailing from the Australia’s own Seattle, Wollongong, the band is made up of: Morgana - Vocals & Guitar Sara - Bass & Vocals Adam-Drums The ladies are from pioneering female Aussie hard rock band Nitocris and Adam is from current garage punk no-goods The Strike Outs and they ignite this punch, swagger and know how into the Sugar Beats mix. Since coming together they’ve played a bunch of live shows anywhere and everywhere along the NSW east coast - and squeezed in time to record their debut album at the Pet Food Factory. The Sugar Beats self titled debut album is set for release in August 2025 through Vi-nil Records. The album is the perfect mix of fuzzy pop, crunchy garage and tasty rock, thats totally oozing with syrupy hooks n’ melodies. It’s packed with eleven sugar hits telling tales of tidal waves, living in Steeltown, girls with guns and lustful encounters. You better dig in or stand back.
