Stephen Kennedy

Originally from Donegal Ireland, Stephen Kennedy, is a solo acoustic artist and has been involved in the music industry since his teenage years, performing in both original and cover bands around Ireland before moving to Melbourne Australia in 2009. Since his move down under, Stephen has been gigging the Irish bar scene of Melbourne playing a wide variety of music including the best of Irish songs and ballads, as well as the best of pop and rock pub favorites from through the decades. Stephen has held many residencies at popular Irish venues over the years, and can be heard playing regularly at The Drunken Poet and PJ O Brian's. On the original side, having met and spoke with a lot of migrants / immigrants over the last few years, Stephen has been writing and recording material which depicts the tales and stories of Irish diaspora experience.
