Spacey Space

Part man, part myth, Spacey Space has been an exuberant presence in the Melbourne club scene for over 30 years. He is perhaps best known for his epic DJ sets performed at the infamous Prahran nightclub Revolver Upstairs. A pair of Sunday residencies span much of that extensive period. Spacey has played at many of Australia’s best dance music festivals, including Golden Plains, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Strawberry Fields, Babylon, Beyond The Valley and at Bali's Gypsy Land Festival in late 2019. As a producer, Spacey has had a series of successful releases on Nick Coleman's Suckmusic. As remixer, he is in demand with hot reworks finding their way onto Disco Faith Recordings, Astound Records, Freakshow Disco Productions, Supermercado Records and Revolver Upstairs Records. Spacey is collaborating with Tarek Smallman aka T-Rek with tracks released on Club Sweat and Revolver Upstairs Records. A new project with singer and songwriting Mellisa Ritger aka Lil has Spacey producing vocal house tracks for ears, hearts and feet. His most recent releases can be found on Exceed.
