Solomon Steele

Solomon Steele is a Sydney-based vocalist, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and DJ with more than a decade of professional live performance experience. A versatile performer across indie, folk, rock, pop and contemporary live entertainment, Solomon has toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally. He completed a 10-date US tour with the Isobel Knight Trio, performing across New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Vermont and Maine, including shows at The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall in New York. In Australia, Solomon has performed at Woodford Folk Festival, BIGSOUND, Gum Ball Festival, Dashville Skyline and Tasmania’s Festival of Voices, and has supported artists including Boy & Bear and Tim Finn. His performance credits include the Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre, Federation Concert Hall and venues across the country. As an original artist, Solomon was the principal songwriter, vocalist and guitarist for Sydney indie band Lilas before launching his solo project and releasing the EP Unending in 2025. He has also worked as a session and touring musician across numerous Australian projects. Alongside his original work, Solomon performs professionally as a vocalist, guitarist and DJ for weddings and events across NSW, from intimate acoustic sets and dinner music to full-band performances and DJ sets. He is also an experienced musical director and choir conductor, currently directing a 50+ voice contemporary choir in Sydney.
