Shalani

Singer Song writer Shalani has been sharing her songs around the Illawarra and Sydney for 15 years. Starting when she was 8 years old spring boarding off her recent completed degree at the Sydney Conservatorium she has a bright spark and passion for storytelling and incorporating traditional folk music into her set weaving it in a way that lights it up for a contemporary audience. Joined by an eclectic band of musicians, audiences can expect haunting folk ballads accompanied by droning clarinet and viola, joyous 3 part harmony, uplifting stories filled with vibrant characters and a personal, collaborative concert experience inviting them to energetically and at times literally join in.
