For over two decades, DJ Sefu has brought his signature style of party rockin' to dancefloors across Australia - from Sydney to Perth, Darwin to Hobart, and every country town in between as well as to international crowds in Los Angeles and New York. Known for his euphoric energy and versatile beat selection, Sefu's reputation as a dancefloor destroyer is well-earned. Starting out as a 14-year-old house party DJ, he quickly became a pioneer of the mixed CD movement in the early 2000s. By 16, he was booking club gigs - often snuck in through the back to dodge I.D. checks and soon joined the legendary RNB Superclub crew. His major label releases through Warner and Sony went multi-platinum, making him one of the few DJs in the country to reach that level of acclaim. In the years that followed, Sefu became one of Australia's earliest Open Format DJs, known for sets that seamlessly blend Hip-Hop, House, Afrobeats, Jersey Club, K-Pop, and Baile Funk - long before genre-hopping became the norm. Not content with just spinning other artists' music, Sefu evolved into a full-fledged producer, dropping featured releases and building a remix empire. With over 130 edits released on SoundCloud and millions of streams, his tracks are played by DJs worldwide.
