Roar Medicine

Roar Medicine is a Melbourne-based, vinyl-only DJ raised by late-night radio and hip hop. With over 12 years behind the decks and a deep-rooted passion for digging, his selections move fluidly through soul, funk, disco, R&B and hip hop. Drawing on years spent immersed in underground music scenes in Chicago and Melbourne, Roar Medicine brings a considered approach to selection - balancing deep cuts, soulful vocals and dancefloor essentials with an instinct for atmosphere, timing and flow. For him, it’s never about showing off the collection. It’s about knowing what to play, when to play it, and letting the records do the talking.
