Poison Oak

Poison Oak are an Indie Rock, Punk band hailing from the heated swelter of North Queensland, Townsville, consisting of members James Balthes, Ray Pearson, Chris Reiterer and Adrian Tarca. Since their inception (2019), the band has released three EPs and their debut album, ‘These Suburban Dreams’. They have landed themselves in well-known music magazines throughout the globe including Vents, Happymag, Scenstr, Hysteria and Amnplify. They started out from jams after runs up Castle Hill. After a few months of jamming the band decided to put together and record a few songs. During this time the band consisted of James Balthes, Ray Pearson, Grant Miles and Russell West. These songs garnered the interest of Record Label, The A&R Department in Sydney with the band working with the label on the releases. Shortly after this Grant Miles left the band and was replaced by Chris Reiterer in early 2020.
