Pingu's Dead

Pingu’s Dead is a Melbourne-based DJ and selector known for genre-fluid sets built around groove, percussion and atmosphere. His sound moves through deep and progressive house, Afro rhythms, techno, dub, bass and 140. Originally cutting his teeth in Auckland’s underground scene, Pingu’s Dead has played venues including Neck of the Woods, Whammy, Verona and Pointers, alongside appearances for SIR and on PDC’s hand-built soundsystem after winning the Kauri Quakes Wild Card. Now based in Melbourne, he’s bringing that same energy to a new set of dancefloors.
