In December 2021, Pete McCredie packed his life into a van and headed to Byron Bay with nothing but a guitar, a dream, and a determination to share his music. Hitting the streets as a busker, Pete quickly found connection in the rawest form - playing to anyone who stopped to listen. That grassroots beginning laid the foundation for a career built on honesty, heart, and a never-quit attitude. Pete’s debut EP, Put A Little Love On Me, introduced his blend of soulful storytelling and infectious melodies. Since then, he’s released over a dozen songs, including the breakout tracks Goodbye and In The Water, which went viral across social media. In The Water is set to feature in The Last Resort starring Daisy Ridley, while Good To Be Alive has been selected for a TV commercial campaign across Australia and New Zealand by Camplify. With millions of streams and over 500k monthly listeners on Spotify, Pete has established himself as one of Australia’s exciting emerging voices. His live shows have become a cornerstone of his journey. In just a few years, Pete has headlined five national tours across Australia and completed a sold-out run of shows throughout Australia and Europe on his recent Lovers On The Road Tour. Along the way, he’s shared stages with Tay Oskee, Jordy Maxwell, Pete Murray, and Canadian band Current Swell, cementing his reputation as a compelling performer who can put a tear in your eye and a spring in your step.
