London born multi-faceted vocalist, songwriter Paula Baxter started her musical journey at the age of 15. Paula grow up listening to artists such as Nina Simone, Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Carole King, Eva Cassidy, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston to name a few. After several years playing the UK circuit the band released their debut album and embarked on a European tour. After mild success Paula left the band to concentrate on her own material, which lend her to relocate to Australia. Once fully immersed in the Sydney music scene it didn’t take long before Paula was a vocalist in demand called upon to lend her vocals to artists such as James Morrison, Christine Anu, Richard Clapton, ‘1927’, Vanessa Amorosi, Paul Mac, Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian and Jimmy Barnes. Paula was also called upon as backing vocalist to international touring artists; Tony Hadley (Spandou Ballet) Belinda Carlisle (The Go Go’s) Josh Groban (US) and Michael Franti (Spearhead). Paula’s original music is a blend of soul, funk, disco, house and pop. Paula’s debut EP ‘Experience’ was released in 2010. Paula's most resent release was “Never Ever” a Motown up-tempo track featuring International Jazz legend James Morrison. It doesn't stop there, outside of Paula’s original projects and backing vocals bookings, Paula can be found entertaining the troops at various venues and corporate events with her corporate cover band ‘London Brown’.
