OSluggard

OSluggard are a two-piece caveman jam band from Sydney Australia, consisting of Romano Sanna on guitar and vocals and Sean Houten on drums and backing vocals. Meeting at work in 2017/18 the guys started to jam later that year on covers of Down, Corrosion of Conformity and Crowbar, then soon started to write their own songs. Taking their time to get a set of originals together they recorded a 4-track EP which they self-released at the start of 2023. Later that year they went up to Newcastle to record their first full length album with Geoff at Rock the Nation studios. Mixed by Romano’s old mate Roan Critchley and then off to Studio Berserk in Sweden to be Mastered by Esben Willems of Monolord. Now, finally with the physical album in tow, they are ready to attack stages with their heavy assault of the senses and their ten tons of amps. These guys are sonic excess in its purest form, worshipping at the altar of Crowbar and giving nods to other greats such as Bolt Thrower, Entombed, High on Fire and even a little Clutch for good measure. These guys are one band not to be missed live and if ya can’t catch em’ live then have a listen to their new album as it is sure to crush you under the weight of its pummelling riffs and pounding drums – this will NOT disappoint.
