Ollie English

Ollie English is an enthralling singer/songwriter raised in the Adelaide hills region of South Australia. English's music is an electric combination of his prolific blues guitar upbringing, a contemporary folk and pop storytelling appreciation and writing sensibility, and the rock and soul presentation of that introspective songwriting driven by his deeply emotive and powerful vocals. English captivates his audience with the diversity of his sound as he moves from rock anthems with gritty guitar solos to heartfelt ballads humming with gospel-inspired vocal arrangements. Garnering a devoted local following with his fearlessly magnetic live shows with the release of his two singles 'How Many Times’ and ‘Holy Water' and the subsequent Reality of Love EP in 2019, English went on to top the Triple J Unearthed Roots chart and has been awarded the public-voted People’s Choice - Blues & Roots Award in 2018, 2019 and 2020 at the South Australian Music Awards. He has supported Robbie Williams, Angus & Julia Stone, Aloe Blacc, The Rubens and many more.
