Serving seductive basslines, hypnotic grooves and dangerous drops, MXWELL XO is a Brisbane-based DJ and electronic artist bringing a distinctly feminine edge to tech house. Her sets move between underground cuts, addictive vocals, unexpected edits and familiar highs — built on tension, release and low end that pulses through your core. DJing for more than 13 years, MXWELL XO first cut her teeth in Sydney’s house scene, playing venues including Name This Bar on George Street before relocating to Queensland. Since then, she has played clubs, major venues, stadium events, corporate stages and private events across South East Queensland, while also building and running Famous Entertainment, her Brisbane and Gold Coast-based DJ and events company. Years spent behind the decks — and putting DJs in front of crowds herself — have sharpened her instinct for reading a room, controlling energy and knowing exactly when to hold the tension or let it explode. Now moving into original production, MXWELL XO is bringing that same instinct to her own sound: playful, provocative and fuelled by pure bass obsession.
