Michael is Melbourne-based with a deep love for the music that moves people before they realise they're moving. Drawing from the rich overlap between disco, deep house, jazz, Latin and vocal house, his sets are less about a single sound and more about a feeling - warmth, familiarity, something that reaches you somewhere personal. Throughout town, he plays both vinyl and digital, not out of nostalgia, but out of respect for the music itself, each format bringing something the other can't quite replicate. The thread running throughout is soulful, the kind that takes time to develop and even longer to let go of. What keeps him going is simple: the room. That moment when strangers start smiling at each other, when someone closes their eyes and just lets the music do what it was always meant to do.
