Melissa Tranchita

Melissa is a Perth-based professional vocalist with over 20 years experience performing across musical productions, live bands, and original works. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama from Edith Cowan University, providing a strong foundation in acting, text analysis, and performance. She trained and taught for eight years at the prestigious West End Music Academy, where her professional career was launched and where she became a founding member of the band Felix. With Felix, Melissa enjoyed success writing and performing original material, including starring in the band’s Miss a Thing music video — a career highlight. She performed with the group for 12 years before taking time to raise a family. Melissa currently performs one to three times per week with her band Atomic, maintaining strong vocal discipline and a deep love of live performance. She has also coordinated and performed in 2 sold out “Yeah the Girls” tribute concerts where she starred as Shania Twain and Shakira and Scary Spice! Melissa brings professionalism, versatility, and seasoned stage presence to every role.
