With performances at the Logie Awards on the Gold Coast under the baton of Maestro – John Foreman , appearances of the Today show and at The Brisbane Festival, Sydney Jazz Festival, Woodford Folk Festival , Broadbeach Blues Festival, Broadbeach Jazz Festival, Brisbane International Jazz Festival, Warwick Jumpers and Jazz Festival, Jazz on the Green , Bluesfest Byron Bay, Malcolm continues to develop a deeper level and understanding of the Live performance skills needed in order to connect with the audience and himself. Malcolm was chosen by Baz Luhrmann as the Trumpet Section Leader for the feature film “Elvis “that was filmed on the Gold Coast. From performing on stages with Jerry Lewis, Tina Arena, Kate Ceberano , David Campbell, Guy Sebastian, Sophie Monk, Tom Burlinson, Troy Cassar Daly, Stan Walker, John and James Morrison, Nicki Parrott, Hugh Sherridan, Darren Percival, ABC’s Macca across Australia, Gina Jeffries, Katie Noonan, Tom Gleeson, Rhonda Burchmore, Rick Price, Rai Thistlethwayte,- Thirsty Merc The Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Theatre Company and many other amazing Artists, Malcolm believes that hard work , dedication , focus, teamwork , passion and a good sense of humour are essential in the world of music making.
