Maddy Petch is a Melbourne-born singer-songwriter, self-described as “a ball of emotions with legs.” Her music is a raw and radiant exploration of human truth - delivered through a brazen voice, sweeping chords and rainbow melodies. Drawing inspiration from artists like Middle Kids, Angie McMahon, and Madison Cunningham, Petch crafts a butter-and-jam fusion of indie-pop and folk-rock, comforting yet unexpected, familiar yet wholly her own. At just 19, Maddy earned the prestigious 2019 Popakademie Songwriting Scholarship and went on to work with SONY, marking a significant early chapter in her artistic journey.
