Lucid Safari

Lucid Safari are one of Brisbane/Meanjin’s rising indie-rock outfits, blending shimmering dream-rock textures with anthemic hooks. With Daniel J. Lewis (vocals/guitar), Alex Cremin (bass) and Nic Ross (drums), the band are stepping into a bold new chapter. Their latest single, “Something More” (Nov 2024), won the QLD OzIndi Top 50 and showcased the band’s ability to fuse heartfelt lyricism with “super sparkly, spacey” production. Previous releases, including their debut EP Delirium, earned them AMRAP metro chart success and high rotation on U.S. station KXFM. On stage, Lucid Safari have built a reputation for magnetic live shows — from sold-out hometown gigs and festival appearances, to a 13-date east coast tour and supporting Australian rock heavyweights British India.
