LOT56. Lot 56 deliver their cure all elixir straight out of the bottle with songs that hail from Tocumwal in the southern Riverina of N.S.W,Japan, Belgium and the building sites of Melbourne. Founding member and songwriter Steve Jean has been howling at the moon for twenty years, hauling in a huge variety of players who honour his love for the music. He was weaned on the mighty Melbourne music scene, ingesting as much Pub rock n roll and strife that was on offer. Lot56 play a distinctive brand of country rock n roll and released their eighth album in 2024. Tilted,The Perfect Storm it contains the bands finest work to date. From the intro of “Stay” right thru to final crunching guitar line of “The runaway song” this album is defined by the characters in the songs and the talent of the people that perform them. From likeable rogues and public bar dwellers to love triangles and odes to Japan,the perfect storm is as much a collection of stories as it is some purely magnificent country rock n roll. Lot 56 play regularly around country Victoria ,NSW,Melbourne and Sydney with annual appearances at Nundle as a part of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
