Lawson Doyle

Raised with a love of blues and classic rock and roll, Sydney based singer/songwriter Lawson Doyle possesses a special chemistry exemplified in his contemporary songwriting and electrifying live performance. Doyle has spent over a decade honing his craft, most consistently supporting himself alongside various original projects as a self-accompanied soloist, stripping his sound back to its most honest form. Doyle, alongside songwriting partner and co-lead Cass Ford, fronts four-piece country rock band Big Wheels, with whom he has hit milestones across Australia, the UK and Europe, including BBC Radio play, Spotify playlisting, and festival appearances at Spaced Out (AUS), Maverick Festival (UK), SXSW Sydney and The Great Escape (UK), alongside a sold-out UK tour with Sofar Sounds. Since his early teens, Doyle has performed across groups and genres, largely focused on blues, rock and folk. He previously fronted acclaimed Australian groups Sunflower (2020–2021) and Port Royal (2015–2019), appearing at Bluesfest Byron Bay, Caloundra Music Festival, Yonder Festival and Mordialloc Arts Festival, and supporting greats including Dead Kennedys, Wolfmother, Supersuckers, JET, Ball Park Music, The Jungle Giants and The Delta Riggs. With over 10 years' experience across festival stages, corporate events, weddings, pubs and clubs across Australia spanning band, duo and solo arrangements, Doyle is well accustomed to delivering high-quality entertainment for every kind of audience.
