I am an African-born drummer with a passion for rhythm, music and live performance. My journey with the drums began at the age of 15, when I discovered a natural connection with rhythm and developed a deep love for drumming. Since then, music has become an important part of my life and a powerful way for me to express myself and connect with others. My musical influences are rooted in Gospel, Funk and African music. Gospel has shaped my sense of timing, groove and musical expression, while Funk has strengthened my appreciation for powerful bass lines, tight rhythms and energetic performances. My African background also plays an important role in my style, influencing the rhythms, patterns and energy I bring to my playing. I enjoy working with different musicians, learning new styles and adapting my playing to suit different musical environments. Whether performing in church, at events, on stage or in a rehearsal, I aim to create a strong rhythmic foundation that brings energy and life to the music. For me, drumming is more than keeping time—it is about communication, emotion, energy and connection. I believe a great drummer listens, understands the music and knows when to lead, support and create space. As I continue my musical journey, I hope to develop my skills, collaborate with talented musicians and share my passion for music with a wider audience. The drums are my voice, and rhythm is how I tell my story.
