Katharine has been influencing dancefloors with her sideways house on the Australian East Coast since 2000, and now plays in Melbourne. She’s recently supported Silat Beksi, Herck, Monika Ross & Crihan. Katharine has put on Motion:Theory:Music parties at Killing Time for over a decade, a party series and label she runs with Ben Abrahams, and is an official resident for Timeless at KT. Known for her 5 hour vinyl sets at lounge bars like Black Cat and Fiftyfive, she has also played a 3 hour vinyl set at the infamous Breakfast Club rooftop. Sought after for her take on minimal, she mixes lush techno, breaks and West Coast house into a session filled with intriguing groove. Her guest mix collection is a reflection of the world’s underground minimal scene, with over 36 new mixes in the last few years alone, all much loved due to her unique way and energy flow. Katharine also hosts Selekt Sessions mix series with Rupert Wall of Brooklyn, where they showcase minimal pioneers. She has long been followed for her Romanian influenced and microhouse concoctions; Half is Enough Romania, Feeder Sound, Fratii. Ro & the Spclnch label are just a few of her renowned supporters. Katharine has many deep all vinyl mixes and has recently released YouTube sets for Pins N Needles, Chippy Chasers in the Netherlands and the U Dub Techno series.
