Joe Man Murphy

Born in England and based in Queensland, Joe Man Murphy is a powerful Folk-Roots performer known for his storytelling, soaring vocals, and instrumental brilliance. He’s played major festivals including Woodford, National Folk Festival, and Palm Creek and many more. Joe Man founded the theatrical folk band Gypsy Rumble, touring nationally and writing shows performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. As a long-time member of The Timbers, he co-wrote two albums and toured extensively.
