Emerging from the depths of Naarm's outer north, jib took shape in the folk scene in 2025 with his first single, it's so cold, inspired by heartbreak, Bossa Nova chords & a freezing winter spent in an uninsulated Coburg North share-house. In early 2026, jib went on to release his self-titled heartfelt first EP, jib, as a solo artist. jib is blessed to now be joined by a posse of mates on horns, strings & percussion that elevates his sound into a grandiose & ethereal performance. Following a run of sold-out pub gigs and a few charity gigs across Naarm and beyond, jib is set to release his debut album with his band of mates. jib acknowledges and pays respects to the traditional custodians of the land he writes, records and performs on.
