Jae Bones

Jae Bones is a Sydney-based DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist known for groove-driven cross-genre music infused with live musicianship, nostalgic samples and homegrown edits. Blending disco, funk and soulful modern house, his performances combine DJing with live instrumentation (Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Drums & live Vocals), to create dynamic sets that blur the line between club sets and live performances. Jae Bones crafts warm, uplifting journeys that build from chilled out afternoon soulful grooves through to peak-time dancefloor energy. Drawing on almost two decades of performance experience across four continents, Jae launched this new project in late 2025. In a short time, he has secured appearances at respected festivals and club nights while establishing a reputation for energetic, hybrid performances that bring live musicianship back to the dancefloor. Away from the stage, Jae contributes to some of Australia’s most in-demand festivals and events through his work with one of the country’s leading music promoters. He is also the founder of Somatiq, a club movement built around the belief that dance and live music are among the most powerful forces for human connection.
