Melbourne-born and bred, DJ MAGNUS clearly communicates an infectious passion for music through the decks. If you missed his debut gig at Cairns Tropical Pride in 2007, he may well have had you sweating it out at Big Gay Day (Brisbane), I Remember House (Sydney / Melbs), Midsumma T-Dance (Melbourne), CoastOut (Coffs Harbour), ChillOut (Daylesford), Christchurch Pride (NZ), Rebel Bar (Melbs / Sydney), Broken Heel Festival (Broken Hill), Geelong Rainbow Festival, Tropical Fruits Festival (Lismore), or at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras AfterParty. His signature sound of uplifting vocal House and an instinct for reading a crowd whilst delivering goosebumps on the dance floor, have earned him a respected place as one of Australia's finest House music DJs. However, he also shows fantastic versatility by playing genres from Chill to Deep House, Progressive and Trance. He's held residencies all over Australia, including The Wickham / White Wolf (Brisbane), Daywash / Hot Kandi / ARQ / The Colombian (Sydney), Rock City / Sircuit / The GH / Sundaylicious, Viper Room, The Peel (Melbourne), Flamingos (Hobart), and The Met / Levee Bar / Beats On Tap (Lismore). He debuted at the 30th anniversary of the Tropical Fruits Festival in 2019. He has since made Lismore his home and established himself as a much sought-after local performer and community member.
