Helen Russell

Helen Russell has been central to the Brisbane jazz scene for many years as a busy bass-playing sideman to many band leaders. In more recent times, she has stepped up to the microphone with a swag of quirky and sweet jazz standards. This band can perform as a trio or a quartet including saxophone. Helen also leads the Good Bait Trio and Rose Pedal Saloon, a quartet featuring Michel Rose on pedal steel guitar.
