Hailing from the rum-soaked cane fields of Bundaberg, Queensland, Hazy Tides is a four- piece alt-rock outfit making serious noise with their infectious melodies, bass-driven riffs, hulking rhythms and dynamic vocals. Formed in 2021, the band — Jayden, Zach, Daniel and Liam — quickly earned recognition, coming runner-up in The Sound Garden’s Battle of the Bands (Brisbane) and taking first place in the Triple M Bundaberg contest. Their explosive live energy has landed them slots at Lighthouse Rock Festival in both 2022 and 2023, performing to crowds of 5,000+ alongside Aussie legends like The Living End, Jimmy Barnes, and Choirboys. Over 2023–24, Hazy Tides recorded their debut LP with Joel Myles at Hunting Grounds Studios (Brisbane) and hit the road for two gritty, DIY tours across regional Queensland — cementing their reputation as a must-see live act.
