Gary Ward is a Birmingham‑born DJ and promoter now based in Sydney, Australia, with a career spanning nearly three decades. Deeply rooted in the UK house and disco scene, he is respected for his musical depth and long‑standing contribution to club culture and underground parties. Gary played his first set at the legendary Miss Moneypenny’s at just 17 and became an established DJ across Birmingham in the early 2000s. He held residencies at iconic nights Rouge and Babooshka, sharing the booth with Roger Sanchez, Derrick Carter, David Morales, Tim Deluxe, and Jocelyn Brown. He also promoted the Days Like This and Uber parties, played alongside Louie Vega, Karizma, Atjazz, Kenny Dope, Jazzanova, DJ Spen, and Greg Wilson, and toured extensively across Italy, France, Spain, and Estonia. Now based in Sydney, Gary plays with collectives including S.A.S.H, Rotary Disco, Analogue Discogue, and Attic, across venues such as Home, Burdekin, Slyfox, Flinders, Stanleys, and Tokyo Sing Song. Notable international venues include Ministry of Sound (London), Café Mambo & El Divino (Ibiza), Le Queen (Paris), Il Ciclope (Naples), Prive (Tallinn), Mecca (Prague), Thompson’s Garage (Belfast), Gravity (Vilnius), and To See Club (Freiburg).
