Cutting between baile funk, Jersey club and bass with an infectious sense of fun, Australian based artist FOZZA brings playful, percussive heat to the booth. Born in nipaluna/Hobart and now based in Naarm/Melbourne, FOZZA is a selector, promoter and creative instigator with a taste for the playful, percussive and unpredictable. Behind the decks, she threads club pop, tech, baile funk, Jersey club, UKG, bassline and dub-weight pressure into sets that favour movement, humour and momentum over tidy genre lines. Her presence is outward-facing and infectious: big basslines, chopped vocal hooks and cheeky switches delivered with the kind of enthusiasm that brings the room along for the ride. Whether she is playing hometown spaces in lutruwita/Tasmania or Naarm venues including Misfits, Music Room and Wax Music Lounge, FOZZA leans into the dancefloor as a place for release, flirtation and full-body fun. That same spirit drives FOZZA presents, her independent party platform for emerging artists, sounds and styles. Built as a flexible outlet for curation, visual ideas and community building, the project gives FOZZA room to platform new voices while pushing for a more inclusive and experimental club culture.
