Jayne Murphy founded Flowers for Jayne in 2019 and is the band’s principal songwriter, guitarist, lead vocalist and producer. She is a non-binary transwoman and a proud supporter of all women in music. Flowers For Jayne is a dynamic power trio with a reputation for delivering high energy and quality performances. Jayne has worked in the Australian Music Industry since 1984 both as a musician and music professional. As a music professional Jayne has toured all states and territories in Australia. As a lead guitarist, she has played in several Sydney bands including iconic Australian band Lime Spiders.
