Firas is the Music Director at PBS 106.7FM, Melbourne's premier specialist music station. He is a broadcaster and worldly music lover with an ear out for the percussive, the seductive and the emotive. As a DJ, Firas traverses music's various forms, from rock to rave, jazz to jungle, blues, boogie, disco and punk, though he is especially roused by the rhythmic mysticism he finds in some of the more wistful sounds in techno and house.
