Ex Ponto

Ex Ponto is the alias of multidisciplinary artist Ivan Mašić, whose work moves between music, light and the moving image. His work spans projection art, video production, sound design, and live performances that invite both reflection and movement. Exploring themes of place, memory, and the ritualistic dimensions of sound, his productions and live sets unfold with spontaneity and emotion, weaving together field recordings, layered percussion, voice and electronics. As a music producer, Ivan has released vinyl and digital recordings on General Purpose, Offen Music, and Best Effort’s Interior Music series, in addition to contributing bi-monthly mixes on Leeds-based Narr Radio.
