Essi grew up on a farm in rural Goondiwindi, singing to the cows from the back of a hayfeeder and spinning her mum’s Fleetwood Mac CDs. Her country-pop sound, influenced by the likes of Kacey Musgraves and Leon Bridges, earned her #1 Country Song in the Nashville-based International Songwriting Competition. She has played Gympie Muster, Brisbane Ekka, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and more. After writing and collaborating with US producers and artists in Mexico, Essi now brings her emotive vocals and heartfelt storytelling to stages across Australia.
