Originally established as a solo pub-rock act, Shake expanded into DJing in 2025, combining decades of stage experience with modern DJ technology. As a solo performer, DJ Shake delivers live drums and vocals backed by high-quality backing tracks, covering crowd-favourite artists such as Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pearl Jam, and Metallica. This format brings the power and authenticity of a live band with the flexibility of a solo act—perfect for pubs, clubs, private events, and community functions. For DJ performances, DJ Shake uses professional-grade equipment, including the Electro-Voice Evolve 50M column array PA system for clear, balanced sound, and a Mixstream Go Pro DJ console for seamless mixing. Live vocals are delivered through a Shure Beta 58 microphone, while solo shows feature a Yamaha DTX8 electronic drum kit. Multiple stage lighting options complete the setup, creating a polished and engaging visual experience.
